Freelance Content Writer

Job description

If you have great research skills, English proficiency and knowledge about music production, you might be our perfect match. We are looking for a freelance music tech writer who will produce posts explaining and defining terminology in a simple and light way to the general public. We need detailed, accurate, original and interesting posts on loudness and music production in general. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Doing research on a given topic by the Youlean team (topics are mainly based around loudness, explaining and defining terminology with a goal to simplify the usage of our audio software)
• Producing blog posts in English, written in an interesting and original way, always finding new ways to explain complicated issues and problems our customers are encountering every day
• Create supportive material for your content such as graphs, images, sound examples, etc.
• Be fast and responsive in communication with the Youlean team

Required skills

• English speaker (native or bilingual proficiency)
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent writing skills for internet consumers
• Understanding of the music technology/production
• Able to meet deadlines and communicate with the team

Desired skills

• Music production knowledge
• Basic knowledge of design (for post featured image, explanatory images, etc)
• Previous experience in content writing will be a plus
